Mia Ray
Mia Ray is passionate about teaching and inspiring young dancers. She herself was a young dancer at Prairie School of Dance when she started 12 years ago, and that drives her inspiration to teach. She has spent the last 9 years in the Performing Arts program, currently as a third-year Level 8 dancer and a member of the Cathedral Ensemble.
She had trained in a wide range of styles, including ballet, jazz, tap, sacred, and pointe, each contributing to her artistic growth. This year marks her first as an instructor after four years of assisting in the classroom, and she’s incredibly excited to help foster the same love for dance in her students that has shaped her life. She centers her classroom around building confidence, technique, and a sense of community. She believes in focusing on the joy of dance and cannot wait to share her joy with her students.
As she prepares to graduate from Saint Louis Park High School in 2027, she aspires to motivate the next generation of dancers to pursue their passion with creativity and determination. She looks forward to an exciting year of making beautiful memories together in the studio!
