Linhoff Photography will capture professional photos Monday, May 4th through Saturday, May 9th at dellFIVE Studios!

  • All recreational classes meet at dellFIVE this week! 18946 Lake Drive E., Chanhassen, MN 55317

  • All photo orders will be placed online & delivered directly!

  • Fun photo products and 'Early Bird' specials available!

  • A parent is required to attend with their dancer(s) to receive all important information!

  • Adult Classes: Adult Ballet (Monday), Adult Tap (Monday & Wednesday), Adult Jazz (Wednesday) and Adult Pilates will have regular classes this week.

When you arrive...

  • Dancers will meet with their PSOD teachers upon arrival.

  • While your dancer is in class, parents please:

    • Register for summer camps and the 2026-2027 dance year

    • Review Spring Recital information

    • Purchase a bun kit and/or makeup kit

    • Browse the lost & found area for any items your dancer may have left behind this year

Recommended Makeup for the Stage!

Please soften for photos and wear as much as or little makeup to fit your family’s comfort.

  • MAKEUP: Foundation

  • LIPS: Red lip stain (Elf Lip Stain Gloss, color:  Red Carpet #90109 or Elf Matte, color: Rich Red)

  • CHEEKS: Pink

  • EYES:    

    • Light brown or ivory for lid

    • Darker brown on crease of eye

    • Black eyeliner

    • Black mascara

    • Eye brow liner optional

Thank you for following our hairstyle and makeup guidelines to ensure consistency and professionalism on stage. We understand that individual hair and skin types vary, you may tailor these recommendations, as necessary, to best suit your dancer's needs. Families may choose their brand of make-up & apply as lightly as they wish so we can see their facial features under the stage lights.

Recreational Classes

  • Photos will take place within your regularly scheduled class time.

  • Please arrive promptly at your arrival time at dellFIVE with your dancer(s) in costume with their hair and makeup done.

  • Makeup is recommended to highlight their natural features under camera and stage lights. Families may choose how much to wear. Please see your dancer’s costume sheet for recommended hairstyles & makeup.

  • Families will get a first look at their dancer’s recital dances for an in-studio showing after photos have been taken!

  • Pre-Performing Arts & Teen Jazz/Tap classes will have two photo times to capture photos in both costumes/shoes.

Performing Arts

  • PA Levels 3, 4, 5 & 6 will take photos on Thursday, May 7th and will meet for regular class on May 5th.

  • PA Levels 1, 2, 7 & 8 will take photos on Tuesday, May 5th and will meet for regular class on May 7th.

  • PA Minis photos will be captured on Wednesday, May 6th.

    • PA Minis: A parent is required to attend with their dancer(s) to receive all important information!

  • PA Pointe & PA Ballet Ensemble photos will be captured on Saturday, May 9th. (PA Beg. Pointe should wear their pointe leotards, pink tights and will receive a black ballet wrap skirt from PSOD.) PA Ballet Ensemble will have regular class on Friday, May 8th.

  • PA Cathedral Ensemble will meet for rehearsal on Monday, May 4th from 8:45-9:30pm. PA Cathedral Ensemble will take photos on Saturday, May 9th.

  • All Saturday PA Ballet Technique, PBT Pointe classes will be held as regularly scheduled on Saturday, May 9th.

  • PA Small Groups & PA Senior have an optional opportunity to take photos on Saturday, May 9th.
