Creative Dance and Dance with Me classes: $60/month
30 minute classes: $50/month
45 minute classes: $68/month
60 minute classes: $79/month
75 minute classes: $88/month
90 minute classes; $108/month

Adult Classes

Adult Ballet or Tap: $58/month or $20/Class Drop-in

Dads & Daughters

Session 1: $185/Session per couple
Session 2: $185/Session per couple + (Costume Fee of Approx. $150 per couple)

PA Placement and registration is by audition only.

Registration

PSOD utilizes a user-friendly online registration and account management system via our website. Once you have registered on the parent portal for the upcoming 2025-2026 dance year, and paid your annual family registration fee, your class spot(s) will be held. Your first month of tuition will be charged in September.

Registration fee
$45.00 per family
This annual registration fee is due at the time of enrollment and is non-refundable.
(No registration fee for adult classes)

We use automatic Credit Card billing via the parent portal.

PERFORMANCES

All classes will conclude with a Spring Recital performance in May/June 2026 at Eden Prairie High School!

Recreational Christmas Shows

All recreational classes ages 5+ will perform in one of our annual recreational Christmas Shows in December 2025. There is a $25 participation & costume rental fee. There is no ticket price for this show, shows are free to attend! It is a fun way to celebrate the season together! Creative Dance & Dance with Me Classes will have an informal Christmas Show during class in the studio in December.

Recital Fee

A one-time $40 non-refundable performance fee will be charged in February 2026 for the first dancer in each family. $10 will be charged for each additional dancer.
This recital fee will cover access to a downloadable link of their recital performances on stage throughout the year!
Your dancer’s music and video of their choreography will be uploaded to your Parent Portal Resource page in December for their Christmas Show and in May for their Spring Recital.

Costume Fee For Spring Recital

• $78 for Creative Dance & Dance with Me

• $92 for Recreational Classes ages 5+

• $105 for Pre-Performing Arts & Performing Arts

Each student will need to purchase one costume per class.
Costume measurements will be taken in the fall and costumes will be handed out with tights in the Spring for the Spring Dance Recital.

$55 costume deposit will be billed in October 2025. The remaining balance will be billed in January 2026. All costume payments are non-refundable.

Studio Policies

Weather Cancellations/ Forced Closures / Unforeseen Circumstances
PSOD is not able to refund tuition for single-day weather cancellations or other forced closure due to circumstances beyond our control. However, in the event that PSOD is forced to close for a period of time greater than one week, PSOD is committed to offering Online Class options or re-scheduling classes.

Cancellations will be communicated via email, on our website or social media, and on our studio voicemail.

Refunds & Withdrawals
Refunds will not be given after attending one week of scheduled classes in a month. No refunds or credits are given for any remaining classes to be held within the month of your withdrawal. Please notify PSOD via email or phone regarding withdrawals.

No refunds will be offered for private lessons unless they are rescheduled or cancelled with 24 hour notice.

Refunds are issued minus a 5% administrative credit card fee.

Injury
In the case of a physical injury, with a doctor’s note, you will be charged half of your regular tuition for up to two months of enrollment. Please contact the PSOD dance office with further questions. Dancers are allowed and encouraged to attend and observe class.

Makeup Classes
Dancers registered for an on-going weekly dance class September through May, are welcome to make up a missed class by attending another weekly class for the same age group on our dance year schedule. Please email or call to let us know your dancer will be attending another class as a make up. Pop up classes are not eligible for makeup options.

Photo & Video
We love how excited you are to come watch and celebrate your dancers’ joy and accomplishments in the studio!  It’s okay to take brief videos and photos of your child. Yet, we request that observers are mindful to not overly capture classes. Phone devices in the windows can be a distraction and increase pressure for students. Please also be mindful that you are primarily capturing your own child and not others in the room to respect everyone’s privacy.

Terms & Conditions for the Payment of Fees
1. All bills are due and payable within 7 days of receipt. All tuition will be automatically charged to your credit card on file unless you have made special arrangements with the billing department.
2. Costumes must be paid in full before they may be taken home, unless arrangements have been made with Prairie School of Dance.
3. A 5% administration fee will be applied to all outstanding bills where a payment plan is not in place.

There is a $25.00 service charge for all returned checks due to non-sufficient funds.
